Our Story
A college project that got gloriously out of hand.
We're Nirvan and Walker — we met at Emory University and bonded over the same daily problem: we wanted to eat clean, but between Walker's practice schedule as a student-athlete, classes, and everything else, there was never time to actually cook. Frozen veggies were supposed to be the answer. Instead they showed up soggy, bland, and forgettable. We figured we couldn't be the only ones.
How Roast'd started
Senior year, with a lighter course load, we did the most us thing possible: we built our own class. We wrote a full syllabus, scheduled weekly lectures, assigned ourselves reading, and quizzed each other — all to learn everything we could about frozen food, CPG, and the grocery business.
Roast'd is what graduated from that curriculum: globally flavored, air-fryer-optimized vegetables engineered to make eating well fast, easy, and genuinely exciting — for anyone with a full plate and no time to fill it.
