Pan-Seared Steak with Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Asparagus — plated and ready to serve

Pan-Seared Steak with Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Asparagus

Made with Roast'd Aspara Good — Lemon Pepper Asparagus.

A proper steakhouse dinner at home: seared sirloin, creamy mash, and crispy lemon pepper asparagus on the side. The asparagus cooks in the air fryer while the steak rests, which is exactly the kind of timing you want on a busy night.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Roast'd Aspara Good (Lemon Pepper Asparagus) — served on the side
  • 2 sirloin steaks
  • 500g potatoes, for mashing
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
  • Splash of milk

Procedure

  1. Make the mash

Boil the potatoes until tender, then mash with butter, a splash of milk, salt, and pepper.

  2. Sear the steak

Season the steaks and sear in a hot pan 3–4 minutes per side. Add butter and garlic, baste, then rest 5 minutes.

  3. Cook the asparagus

Air-fry the Aspara Good for 7–9 minutes until crisp.

  4. Plate

Slice the steak and plate with the mash, with the lemon pepper asparagus served alongside.
