Beef Bulgogi with Firecracker Edamame

Made with Roast'd Cool Beans — Firecracker Edamame.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Roast'd Cool Beans (Firecracker Edamame) — served on the side, in the pod
  • 300g thinly sliced beef
  • 2 cups steamed rice
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil + 1 clove garlic

Procedure

  1. Marinate

    Toss the beef with soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and grated garlic; rest 10 minutes.

  2. Sear hot and fast

    Sear the beef in a screaming-hot pan for 2–3 minutes until caramelized at the edges.

  3. Cook the edamame

    Air-fry the Cool Beans for 3–5 minutes until hot and blistered — keep the pods whole.

  4. Plate

    Serve the bulgogi over rice with the firecracker edamame in the pod on the side.
